Prof Thyl Snoeck

 

Thyl Snoeck was born on 27 May 1970 in Brussels. In 1995, he obtained the Master’s degree in physiotherapy and reeducation at the Free University of Brussels and his AEU in physiotherapy at the Complex Oro-Facial at the Jean Monet University (France) in 1996.

Since 2000, he has been working as a teacher and researcher at the Brussels Brabant University. He is currently coordinating the Research Unit in Anatomy, Morphology and Biomechanics. He teaches courses in anatomy of the musculoskeletal system, Head and Neck anatomy and Oro-Maxillofacial Reeducation. In 2004, he joined the Department of Experimental Anatomy at the Free University of Brussels to carry out his research and his doctoral thesis on extra cerebral hemodynamic and anatomical variations of the cranial arterial network in relation to the dysfunctions of the mandibular system. A member of the Academic Bioethics Committee since 2007, he obtained his University Certificate in Laboratory Animal Science in 2013. He is the author and co-author of several national and international publications.

 

 

Thyl Snoeck collaborates with the Tongue Lab team on clinical and fundamental research in the reeducation of lingual and maxillofacial dysfunctions.
