Sandra Coulson is an internationally recognized American myofunctional oral myofunctional therapist. For more than 45 years, she has cared for thousands of patients (children, stroke victims and people with various myofunctional disorders…) locally and internationally, sometimes over several generations.
Beyond her personal practice at the Coulson Institute, she is actively involved in training health professionals in myofunctional oral myofunctional therapy in at least two ways:
- She became a clinical professor and directed an online certification training program at the Graduate School of Behavioral Health Sciences (Denver) for myofunctional orofacial therapists.
- Since 2003, she has founded and chaired the Coulson Institute (Denver, Colorado), which trains health professionals in myofunctional oral myofunctional therapy in the United States and abroad.
